New School
New school was designed for healthcare changemakers grappling with the complexity of healthcare’s enduring challenges. The curriculum flows through a 12-week participatory process that includes:
Awakening: Beginning with engaged noticing
Understanding: Theoretical grounding, frameworks, and provocations
Experiencing: Conducting experiments in real systems
Synthesizing: Convening to digest, interpret, and co-sense
Integration: Bringing discoveries to life
A living curriculum for awakening perception, re-patterning practice, and cultivating a new fluency in care.
-
Shift from “thinking about problems” to perceiving systems as living contexts —> From about-ness to aliveness. How do we meet instead of match problems?
-
Deepening awareness and discovering how inner experience and outer action mutually inform each other.
The 12-week Experience
-
Learning to navigate a complex situation when both its causes and potential consequences are hidden, and the trail ahead has no shape, no markers, and no obvious direction.
-
Preparing for real-world complexity and the challenges of returning to the land of the really real.
